This fresh citrussy lemon salmon pasta is a delightful dish that perfectly balances the rich flavors of salmon with the zesty brightness of lemon. Al dente pasta is tossed with succulent salmon, sautéed to perfection, and complemented by a vibrant lemon sauce that adds a refreshing tang. Ingredients:
350 grams spaghetti
250 grams cream cheese
400 grams salmonfilet
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp butter
2 lemons
Cheese to sprinkle on top
Fresh parsley to garnish
Directions:
Step 1 Start by salting your pasta water and cook your spaghetti following the instructions on the packaging.
Step 2 While your pasta is cooking salt your salmon generously on both sides and add them in a hot pan with butter, cook your salmon through and place aside when done.
Step 3 Grate your garlic and juice the lemons.
When the pasta is done, fill up a cup of pasta water and strain the rest.
Step 4 To another pan, add some butter and your garlic and fry until the garlic is golden brown. Then add your pasta and cream cheese and keep stirring on low heat.
Step 5 While the cream cheese is melting, use a fork to shred the salmon and add this to your pasta.
Step 6 Now add your lemon juice little by little to the pasta until its citrussy enough to your liking.
OPTIONAL: If you like a thinner sauce, use the pastawater you set aside to thin the sauce
Step 7 Lastly, chop up your Parsley and use to garnish your dish.
Step 8 Enjoy!! Time to plate and enjoy this tasty dinner.
